How We Source Our Team Information

Where the information on team pages comes from, how claimed and unclaimed pages differ, and how to suggest a correction.

Where it comes from

Where our team information comes from

Team pages are built from public sources, mostly teams' own websites and Instagram accounts.

  • Public sources

We look at a program's own website and Instagram account to build its page.

  • Claimed by programs

Programs can claim their page and add or change details themselves.

  • Tryout dates

In some cases we check tryout dates against the program's own website.

Fair to every program

No rankings and no paid listings

We don't rank programs. No team pays to be listed or to change how we describe it.

Claimed versus unclaimed

Claimed and unclaimed pages

Here is how the two kinds of pages differ.

  • Unclaimed page

The page is labeled near the top. It shows what we found from public sources.

  • Claimed page

The page is managed by whoever claimed it. We review each claim before approving it.

  • Either way

We do not independently verify every detail on any page.

For programs

Claiming is free

If you run a program, you can claim your page and edit it yourself. Claiming is free.
