- Pick Ghost Advanced if she wants less sting on mishits. Easton pairs its Double Barrel 3 design with ConneXion Evolution, a connection piece that separates handle from barrel to cut vibration.
- Pick Asura Lux if she likes a stiff, connected one-piece feel. Marucci says the Lux barrel runs about 1.5 inches longer on average than its two-piece Asura, without adding swing weight.
Construction
Easton builds Ghost Advanced with Sonic Comp Max composite, Double Barrel 3 and the Power Boost soft knob. Marucci builds the Asura Lux as a one-piece composite with its Gap Sync barrel, a high-flex PFX handle, a stiffened transition zone and a softer TFX end cap meant to add flex near the end of the barrel.
Swing weight
Easton lists Ghost Advanced as balanced at -11 and -10 and end loaded at -9 and -8. Marucci describes the Asura Lux as mid-loaded, a slight end load. If she's a slapper or needs bat speed, start with the lighter drops in either bat.
Sizes
Marucci offers the Asura Lux in half lengths, 32.5 and 33.5 inches, which helps a player stuck between sizes. Check the exact drop and length you need on each maker's listing before you buy.

Which one should you buy?
If she has swung both and can't tell a difference, buy the one that fits her size and budget. If she hasn't, a one-piece vs two-piece choice is worth one trip to the cage before you spend this much. For the rest of the Ghost family, see Ghost Unlimited vs Advanced vs OG.
