Atlas vs Select PWR
Same maker, opposite swing weights. The Atlas is balanced, so it suits a hitter who needs bat speed. The Select PWR is end loaded, built for a strong hitter who can handle more mass in the barrel. Its composite handle is there to cut sting. If your player isn't sure, the balanced bat is the safer pick.

It also has Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) vibration control, a Pro Design Knob Taper and an LS Pro Comfort Grip. Alloy vs composite. The Atlas is ready to swing right away with a one-piece feel. The Icon is a two-piece composite built to soften mishits, and Rawlings lists it as balanced too.

Select PWR vs Icon

Which one should you buy?
If he's still growing into BBCOR weight, start balanced: the Atlas or the Icon. Move to an end-loaded bat like the Select PWR once he's on time with a balanced one.
